Bliss balls are the perfect little snack. We have such a large assortment in our shop; I do think we have the largest bliss ball range in the North East! When made with whole plant based ingredients they can not only be yummy, but also a healthy alternative to grabbing that chocolate bar when the sugar cravings hit. My favourite has to be anything with peanut butter which is packed with protein and is so versatile. I'm sharing the recipe for Peanut Butter Brownie Bliss Balls with you and hopefully you enjoy them as much as I do!
Makes: approx 10-12
15 medjool dates pitted
1 tbs cacao
2 heaped tbsp peanut butter (crunchy or smooth)
3/4 cups raw almonds
1 tbsp coconut butter
desiccated coconut (optional to roll in)
1. Place all ingredients except the desiccated coconut in a blender/food processor and mix until well combined. Mine takes less than 20 seconds and this will depend on the desired chunkiness of almonds.
2. Roll heaped tbsp of mixture into balls and then again in desiccated coconut if you choose to.
3. Place into fridge or freezer until firm. These would keep for at least 3 months in a sealed container in the freezer. Enjoy!
